My passion in the field of education began with a focus only on children—observing and facilitating their remarkable emotional, cognitive, and physical evolution. This fervor has matured to include supporting other passionate adults who care for children and their growth. As an Early Education Quality Improvement Support Coach with the San Diego County Office of Education, I support early education administrators with program enhancements so children may thrive and flourish. Throughout my 18 years working in education, I've had the wonderful opportunity of working in various roles within general education and special education programs, which included parent education. I hold an array of certifications and training authorizations, such as ERS, CLASS, PITC, Teaching Pyramid, POLL strategies, and CPIN.
Outside of work, I spend time with my family and care for our mini-farm of fruits and veggies, dogs, goats, chickens, and sometimes full bee boxes. I love learning, working with my hands, and trying new things—a life-long learner. Since you’re at the conference, you appreciate personal growth too, and I hope you enjoy the Early years Conference!
